Also known as Lauren. Or LBC. Or Lo. Or LoLo.

Born and raised in Missouri, Lauren has been reading since she was in kindergarten. She used to make a fort out of the sofa cushions and curl inside for hours. As she grew older, she would beg her mom to take her to the library so she could return her books and check out 5-10 books… this happened every week.

After graduating from high school, Lauren went to Drury University, where she got her degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Yep. You read that right. She worked as a pharmaceutical representative and a real estate agent for a few years before she joined a real estate team as a marketing director (spoiler: that’s how she ended up on BookTok).

In 2022, after falling back in love with reading the previous year, Lauren decided to formally join the BookTok community. She quickly grew her account and connected with authors and other readers all over the world.

It wasn’t until she started assisting an author with her content creation that she realized this was the career for her. She soon left real estate and formed this little business, LBCReads - Author Services.
